PDF info is a utility useful to display and change PDF document properties such as author, title, subject, keywords, creator, producer and PDF version information. It is a window based standalone utility and it works without Acrobat reader or writer. It has simple user interface to perform change information.
Features: PDF is a widely usable format for distribution. When you create a file, you enter PDF properties information and set page layout and page mode. Sometimes, you need to modify property information and then distribute. PDF info helps you to verify property information, change wherever required and save the file.
The utility has a simple user interface, anyone can easily perform property modification and save file. Open the PDF file, you can see information of PDF file like File Name, PDF version, Author, Title, Subject, Keywords, Creator, Producer, Page Layout, Page Mode. You can modify this information as per your need and save PDF file. In addition this utility will also display other non editable information like file size, pages, page size, last modified and encryption. The utility is supported on Windows, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003 Microsoft Windows ME and Windows 98 platform.
Overall: This is a very good utility to quickly change properties of your PDF file.
Downloaded on Vista Ultimate, with trouble free installation. I opened an "Adobe created" PDF added keywords and closed it.
Program reported "Updated", but there was no change whatsoever in the PDF properties.
I tried a pdf created in Alladin Ghostscript and was actually able to add keywords. When I opened this second file to remove the test keywords, I was unable to do so, nor could I change any other properties.
So, I wouldn`t rely on this freeware or not, to change PDF properties.
